Reading Books

My current book reading process has gotten a bit slower for the past months. I have finished some more of the books in the ‘Wheel of Time’ series. In between those books I have also read some other books - currently I am reading the book ‘View from the UN’ written by U Thant.

I find the insights of U Thant very fascinating. He was the Secretary-General of the United Nations from Burma. He seems like he is the incarnation of a true civil servant in the international arena. There seems to be no personal ambitions in the way he worked. His only goal was to make the world a better place.

The book is long, but I hope to have it finished soon and can continue on the ‘Wheel of Time’ series.
